Properties
Dioctyl Adipate (DOA) is a light colored, oily liquid. It is flexible at low temperatures, has good electrical properties & it has good resistance to light, and good stability to heat. It is a highly efficient monomeric ester plasticizer, which imparts excellent low-temperature flexibility to compounds. In plastisol applications, it exhibits low initial viscosity and excellent storage stability. It has slow gelation.
Applications
- To reduce surface resistivity of PVC film, sheet, etc. which can partly help to reduce static charges
- Mostly for cold temperature applications and for food contact PVC products
- In the manufacture of packaging PVC products
- Alone or in combination with other Plasticizers in PVC applications where low temperature performance is desired
- As a fuel in rocket propellant
- In fragrance applications for manufacturing of incensed products like candles etc.
- Electrical insulation & jacketing
- In the manufacturing of films and sheeting for use in low temperatures
- Low viscosity plastisols

Dioctyl Adipate (DOA) is available in bulk by road tankers, ISO tanks, in 190 kgs drums & in IBCs.
